The 30th reunion of the
Class of 1978 continues to develop and we
are excited about the responses to date. The reunion will be held on November
29, 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel, Somerset NJ. The committee will meet mid-June

UPCOMING EVENTS Spartans at the Shore - Greetings all Alumni!! The Immaculata Development Office is proud to announce its first alumni event to celebrate the summer and celebrate our great alumni! We will be hosting our 1st Annual "Spartans at the Shore" happy hour on Saturday, August 16, 2008. This happy hour will strictly be a time to reconnect with old friends and network with amazing Immaculata alum. The event will take place at the Shark River Bar and Restaurant, 507 Main St., Belmar NJ next to Klein's Restaurant on the Water from 3pm-7pm. Make a day of it by spending the day on the beach or make dinner or late night plans afterwards. There will be appetizers and we will be offering great drink specials including $2 Coors Lights. Hundreds of Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary have been a part of the Immavulata community since its inception in 1962. During your four years here, you may have had an IHM teacher touch your life in a small or profound way. To collectively thank the sisters, IHS will honor their dedication and contributions at a reception at the high school on Saturday, April 18, 2009. Over the past 47 years, these women have shaped this school, taught our students and helped develop over 8,500 young people spiritually and emotionally. The event named "A Lata Legacy: the IHM Sisters" will be chaired by Linda Larangeria Piscaldo '78 and Scott Frauenheim '03. It promises to be an evening of nostaglia, renewed friendships and expressions of gratitude. We hope to see many of the IHM sisters who graced our lives, back at the school that night. And of course, we hope you, our alumni, will join us. In short, it's a big school reunion! We expect to see our true Spartan Spirit. Proceeds will benefit the IHS Endowment Fund. Lots of behind the scenes planning will take place over the next few months. We will need class contacts and any historical pictures you may have. Dinner With The Pope - on the last Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm, a group of parishioners, Immaculata staff, parents and other interested individuals, gather at the Venetian Grill on Main Street in Somerville, to discuss one of the many books and articles written by Pope Benedict XVI.
